Automotive News Service is Australia's largest independent motoring news service. For over 50 years it has been providing high quality, independent and unbiased automotive news to newspapers in every Australian state as well as several overseas publications.

The weekly column, founded by legendary journalist Pedr Davis back in 1955 and was produced by Pedr until his retirement in 1994 when it was taken over by his colleague and fellow motoring journalist, Ewan Kennedy.    

Over the past 12 years the scope of the column has been greatly expanded with motorcycle and boating stories being added to the motoring section which comprises a comprehensive passenger car road test; three contemporary motoring news stories; a 4WD/light-commercial vehicle road test or news story; and a historical motoring piece. Each article comes with up to three high-resolution images. Both text and images are supplied electronically.
